Industrial Series Routers

ImageStream's Industrial Series routers include the Envoy, Envoy 1U, TransPort, R1, Rebel, Gateway, Gateway Express and Enterprise Express routers. Industrial Series routers provide industry leading price and performance using ImageStream's ImageStream Linux router distribution, off-the-shelf components, and mass-produced enclosures.

Industrial Series routers include standard features such as reliable flash storage, high-performance processors, and commodity memory. The Envoy provides a lightweight but durable aluminum chassis, while the other Industrial Series chassis are produced from heavy duty steel. Entry-level systems provide a 1 Gbps backplane (32-bit 33 MHz PCI and/or MiniPCI), while high-end routers offer up to four 64-bit PCI buses, while high-end routers offer multiple PCI-X and PCI Express buses, hot-swap redudnat power supplies, and DC power options.

Industrial Series routers include the ImageStream Linux router software distribution which relies on the Inetics platform. Inetics provides a powerful driver component architecture and additional software features that support a wide range of networking applications. The lists below describe many of the interface options that are available and software features that are included with Industrial Series routers.
