ImageStream and PowerCode Partner to Deliver New Management Tools for Service Providers

At WiMAX World today, ImageStream^® announced that it has completed an agreement with PowerCode™ that will use ImageStream routers as the Bandwidth Management Units (BMUs) for PowerCode-managed networks. The deal also gives ImageStream the ability to sell PowerCode billing and provisioning software to ISPs who need a complete network management system.

The partnership between ImageStream and PowerCode was driven by customers who wanted the features of a dedicated Bandwidth Management Unit (BMU) included in their ImageStream routers. With the new agreement, PowerCode will discontinue sales of its dedicated BMU product in favor of selling ImageStream routers.

The PowerCode software and PowerNOC™ management server gives service providers powerful capabilities such as lead tracking, on-line sales, credit card payment gateway, Web browser redirection for non-payment, and bandwidth usage statistics by customer. The PowerCode system also includes tech support trouble tickets, installation scheduling, line-of-sight mapping, equipment inventory tracking, bandwidth and VLAN provisioning by customer, management reports, e-mail automation, and more. PowerCode makes it easy for service providers to offer, manage, and bill new and existing services such as hot-spot Internet access, VoIP services, dial-up, e-mail, content filtering, and others.
